I ordered this cart because I didn't want to stand on my head to tend to my smoking and it raises the smoker up to a good working height. Once assembled, the cart is sturdy and functional. My only real problem with it is the instructions, or more accurately, the lack of them.
The cart comes as an Ikea-style flat pack that must be assembled. The instructions are, if I'm being charitable, insufficient. If I'm being totally honest, they are next to useless. It is standard for assembly instructions to start by listing the tools you need and identifying the parts so they can easily be referenced by number or letter later, but they had none of that. Instead, the instructions consisted of one sheet with several drawings of the stand in progressive stages of assembly, shown from less-than-helpful angles. The parts are very similar and it is impossible to figure out which parts they have added from one drawing to the next. They don't indicate what screws, washers, and nuts should be used where or in what order to put them together. To make it even more challenging, nowhere on the package or in the instructions does it show a picture of the assembled product. I ended up finding a photo of it on the Somkin' Tex website and just figuring it out from that. You can see from the attached photo of the instructions that I got so frustrated with them that I wadded them up. I had to dig them out of the trash for the photo.
