It has a 12-volt exhaust fan that draws the air from the bottom drip hole up past the wood box and thru the jerky, drying it. No special wiring needed. Power supply included. Excellent for drying fish, beef, game, fruit and vegetables.

You guys always do a great job. Love your smoker. My only wish is that beef would get cheaper so I use my smoker more often. $90.00 for brisket at Costco is ridiculous.
