Smoked Tri Tip

INGREDIENTS

  • Tri Tip (A tri-tip is triangular from the bottom sirloin cut and usually weighs around 5 pounds untrimmed)

Rub:

Equal Parts:

  • Salt

  • Cumin

  • Onion Powder

  • Black Pepper

  • Paprika

  • Granulated Sugar

DIRECTIONS

Smoke for about 2.5 hours at at 230°F but better to use a temp thermometer with 2-3 oz. of cherry and one chunk of hickory wood.
