Our commercial and restaurant customers smoke steaks and then grill them to smoky perfection!
For a great smoky taste on any steak:
- Put a small amount of Mesquite wood in your smoker's wood box.
Start out with small amounts of wood until you know your smoked flavor
- Set temperature to 125°F.
- When smoke hole has a lot of smoke (approx. 45 min. to 1 hr.) put steak in smoker for 10-20 min.
- Remove and put on grill to finish it off. Cook to taste.
This gives your steaks a great flavor!
This recipe goes great with smoked baked potatoes.
Mesquite is not normally good for any kind of smoking except for steaks.
