Bought my 1400 Saturday at Bass Pro Shops and smoked 2 racks of spareribs on Sunday. The 1400 is the perfect size for the house (takes hardly any space) and it looks great too. Got a million compliments first time out and I didn't actually know what I was doing! ( this forum is very helpful) I love this thing. Two other people at the house are going out and buy one this week. Been ill lately and I don't know how long I will be able to use it but I know that I will enjoy the heck out of this. On to a juicy Pulled Pork.

As a new cooket...follow the instructions provided by ST. My best advice is follow a instructive cook and experiment. Most of all cook,cook,cook. There is no better learning curve.
