1 Tbs Salt
1 Tbs Pepper
1 Tbs Brown Sugar
1 Tbs Sugar
1 Tbs Chili Powder
1 Tbs Paprika
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
This smoked pulled pork was smoked in our SmokinTex Model 1100.
We used a 3 pound pork shoulder, rubbed it and refrigerated overnight.
Smoked it at 225°F degrees for 4 hours with a handful of Apple Wood Chips. Go easy on the amount of wood you use until you have experimented with your smoke flavor level.
Then we wrapped in foil and put back in the smoker for 3 more hours.
Let rest for 5-10 minutes.
We pulled it with two forks and stacked the smoked pork high on a toasted Kaiser Roll, added coleslaw and a little SmokinTex BBQ sauce
Outstanding! And delicious.
